Christmas with the Family

Christmas was alot of fun this year, we spent the weekend at Mom's in Evanston, where we played games, opened presents, went sledding, Here is a pic of Sara and I playing Pente, (where I won 15-2, or there abouts :-), kinda pissed her off).
Uncle Jase, at his best. Although he has a little four legged yellow baby of his own, his neices and nephew gave him the practice he needed to take care of bugsy (or is desal, maybe pete or was it still foreskin?(dont ask about that one)
A new toy! Grandma gave anne pearl this dog that sings and wiggles around on the floor. She LOVED it, made her scream and giggle. And you can see the new grandbaby in the background wondering what the heck it going on.
The aftermath, but not as bad as when all the paper was still laying around. Dan is trying on a new coat from his sister, he's probably thinking "damn, I look good in this!"
Sorry about the sideways pic, forgot to turn in before I saved it. but this a Anne Pearl's christmas dress made by her Great Grandma Urbigkeit. This was probably the most feminine she has been since she was born. But she just looked really really cute!
Coupla cuties!!

Here are the christmas kids. Heather and Annelise in thier Christmas dresses from their Great Grandma U and logan sitting in the matching rocking chairs their Great Grandma and Grandpa U got them for christmas. It was quite a challenge to get them all sitting in the chairs at the same time, and to get all of them looking in the same direction. I think we really lucked out on this pic!

Staying at the Allisons

Well, our stay at the Allison clan has been fun and educational! Annelise is learning quite a bit from both her aunt and her cousins, including, how to eat suckers, how to paint with pudding (although most of her artwork ended up either on her or in her!)

Annelise also got to help them decorate thier tree for Christmas, she loved the ornaments, the tinsel and chasing Logan and heather around the living room. I played photographer so that Sara could also enjoy decorating the tree with the doobers.

But Annelise is not the only one learning during our stay. Sara is letting me raid her scrapping supplies and letting me try my hand at it. She is being very patient with me and my endless questions, but it is alot of fun to get my favorite pics scrapped, and it is pretty obvious who my favorite subject is!

Back Home, for good!

Well, we have made it back to Wyoming, we are now staying at my mom's until we find our own place. But we have been here about two weeks, after spending Thanksgiving plus a few days at my Dad's . All three of us kids were there, and Heather, Logan and Annelise, of course! Grandma was just tickled pink to have three of her great grand babies there and they did a pretty good job of pestering their Grandpa U as well.

Being closer has been great!! I have already seen more of H&L this past month than I have since they were born. They are just getting so grown up, I still can't believe they are going to be two! At the same time, I can't believe Anne Pearl is getting really close to her first birthday! Hanging around these cousins of hers, however, has inspired her to get moving, she started walking around thanksgiving day and hasn't looked back. Everyday her confidence gets stronger and she takes more steps with better balance. Here are a few pics of the last couple of weeks!!

New Blog

I am new at this blogging stuff, So this is the trial run to see how it works!!

We all went to a swim park, but Annelise was not so sure of the hat, although she loved the pool and loved the lazy river!

Annelise and her dad out hiking, she loved being able to look over his shoulder at all the trees and birds!

Leesy learned to crawl just the day before and was putting her new skills to use by chasing leaves and dandylions.
