Summer Fun!

What a summer this is turning out to be, A wedding coming up and two new babies! Speaking of which, I very very excited to be an aunt again! The count is now one Neice and Three Nephews, phew, that's alot of doobers. Little Joseph Jason was born June 18 at a whopping 5# 14 oz. and mom and dad couldn't be prouder. He is very very sweet, and will just cuddle in your arms and fall asleep (unlike another baby I just happen to know). Ryan did very well becoming a big brother. he loves to kiss on Joe and always has to ask about him and make sure he knows where "Baby Joey" is.

And as for the other baby, well, she is little more time consuming LOL! How is it at a month and half, she already knows what she wants and how to get it?? She is becoming the family diva, where everything has to be just right. She loves to be in the middle of the action and is already fighting her naps to make sure she doesn't miss anything. And napping is becoming a challenge, she has to be jiggled, vibrated, swung or rocked in order to fall asleep during the day, and if any of the above stops, she will wake up and inform whomever is closest that it needs to continue if they want her to stay asleep. At night, she does a little better, but prefers Mom and Dad's bed to her own, and sucker that I am, she usually ends up spending about half the night cuddled with me in bed. And now that she is smiling, I don't think I can ever tell her NO, **sigh**.

And speaking of telling kids no, Annelise is finally settled into her big sister role. It took her a couple of weeks to really get excited about it. But she is now my littlebig helper. She is finnally really understanding about taking care of babies. She has a doll that she has christened LuLu (???), that she rocks, feeds, swaddles and loves on whenever I am taking care of Ainsley. She is getting to be such a big girl (and she will tell you that too), and very independent and loves to do things herself ("I do It!!"). Her dad built her a sandbox in the backyard, and that is where we can usually find her. But she also has learned how to peddle bikes and she and ryan have just about wore ruts in the patio out back riding thier big wheels. Who, by the way, likes to refer to Annelise as "My P!" or "P!" (she's gonna love that when she's older). But enough rambling this time! enjoy my pics from that last couple of month.
